Ever found that special bottle years too late?
Me too, so I made Dram+Vine. Photograph the label and it works out when each wine is at its best and how long an open whiskey has left, then tells you before it's too late.
I kept finding a white in the back of the rack two years after it was any good.
So I went looking for an app. The wine apps knew about the wine and had nothing at all to say about the whiskey. The whiskey apps were a list of what I owned. None of them ever told me to go open something, and that was the only thing I actually wanted one for.
I'm not a developer. I build things with AI tools, and after long enough looking for this one I gave up and built it.
It is one person's app for one person's shelf. I feel like other people might get some enjoyment out of it too.

The whiskey apps had nothing to measure. Wine keeps changing in the bottle. That gives a wine app something to track. A sealed bottle of bourbon is the same bourbon ten years later, and the whiskey apps ended up as lists of what you own. Then you pull the cork. Oxidation starts, and how fast it runs depends on how much air is in the bottle and how strong the spirit is. I can measure both of those.
It won't tell you what it's worth
Most cellar apps make their money on that number. This one stores a price if you type one in, so you know what you paid last time, and there is no market lookup behind it and no total across the top of the screen.
I left it out on purpose. Doing valuation properly means going up against twenty years of accumulated price data, and it would pull the app toward people who buy bottles to hold them. This app is for people who drink them.
